Job Description

Abranova Building Company needs a construction accountant to manage finances of the company, generate financial reports, and manage the project cash flow for multiple construction projects.


Accounting operations of the company include:

  • Communicate routinely on a variety of job-related topics including bonding, insurance, cash flow as well as contract agreements.
  • Participate in the formation and implementation of company financial plans.
  • Preparation of all monthly financial reports.
  • Work with outside accounting/financial firms on monthly close-out procedures.
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions.
  • Work with staff to ensure proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing and analyzing job cost estimates and reports monthly.
  • Creating new accounting/operations procedures to prepare and manage rapidly growing entities and the evolving business structure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including banks, title companies, etc. that will support and grow the business.
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends in written accounting procedures.
  • Information management including database analysis like QuickBook.
  • Provide clerical/administrative support for the project team as requested.
  • Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with the design team, builder, site operations and some directly managed vendors.
